NOW IS THE TIME TO IMPLEMENT YOUR ICE CLEAT TRACTION PROGRAM

In our business, there is a perfect time to concentrate on reducing winter slips and falls. And that time is now.

Winter is here, and as a safety professional, it is crucial to prioritize the safety of your employees by addressing your ice cleat and traction aid program. It cannot be stressed enough how important it is to have your traction aids in stock no later than October 1st. This ensures that your employees are as safe as possible, as they will have ice cleats before the inclement weather arrives.

Depending on the size and scale of your program, it may take a few weeks to plan and place an order for the appropriate traction aids. It could even take 30, 60, or more days. It is vital to ensure that your employees have the necessary equipment in their possession before the weather hits; otherwise, they are at a 100% risk of experiencing slip and fall incidents.

However, it is not too late to take action. Late is better than never when it comes to equipping your employees and working towards improving your safety record. But it is essential not to wait too long, as you may find yourself overwhelmed with paperwork from preventable slip and fall incidents.

By taking proactive steps and implementing better planning strategies, these incidents can be prevented.
