California, the central and southern Plains, the Southeast Coast, and parts of southern Alaska are all on the radar for potentially wetter conditions. However, the spotlight shines particularly bright on Southern California, as well as neighboring areas of Nevada and Arizona, where the likelihood of above-normal precipitation is most pronounced, with probabilities ranging between 60-70%.

A winter weather advisory is currently in effect for parts of the area, including Ontario, Livingston, Wyoming, and Allegany counties. This advisory will remain in effect until early Monday morning. The National Weather Service in Buffalo is predicting total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches in the higher terrain and 1 to 2 inches in the valleys and lower elevations.
