Weather Madness Winter Weather Forecast. After several weeks of calm weather across the central and eastern United States, a powerful storm has captured our attention. This storm is anticipated to bring a mixture of precipitation, including rain, snow, wind, and possibly ice, precisely during the busiest travel days leading up to Thanksgiving. Moreover, there is a potential for another storm to cause disruptions for those returning home over the weekend.

While this storm will provide much-needed moisture to areas currently dealing with abnormally dry and drought conditions, its timing couldn't be worse as millions of Americans will be on the move before Thanksgiving.
