Energy is going to move over into the Tennessee Valley by Saturday afternoon and spawn a storm that's going to go right up the Appalachian spine into the northeastern part of the country. And as it does so, the snow will get heavier. We'll start off with 4 to 6 inches of snow down through this area. We'll end up about 8 to 10 inches up across the northeast. As the day progresses, the snow will gradually intensify, covering the landscape in a soft, white blanket.
