WINTER STORM ALERT: MIDWEST CLIPPER TO BRING SNOW & RAIN NEXT WEEK

12/16/24 9:34 AM

Rain, which begins as a steady downpour in Pennsylvania, gradually transforms into snowflakes as it travels northward into the northeastern part of the country. This transformation is part of yet another winter storm system sweeping through the region. It seems as though we've been caught in an unending cycle of storms, where rain frequently falls over existing snow, leading to slushy, treacherous conditions. In some instances, the precipitation creates a chaotic blend of rain, sleet, and snow, making travel and daily activities challenging. Astonishingly, some of these areas have already accumulated nearly an entire season's worth of snowfall by the middle of December, far surpassing the usual expectations for this time of year.
